Are MunChi's Pretzels dairy and egg free and safe for individuals with nut allergies?

Accepted Answer

Yes, all our traditional, authentic Bavarian pretzels at MunChi German Food are vegan and nut-free. 
However, we prepare our food in a commissary kitchen where cross-contamination could occur. While we take care to avoid any contamination, we cannot 100% guarantee that our pretzels will be free from any allergen cross-contact. Therefore, if you have a severe allergy, we unfortunately do not recommend our pretzels for you. We advise customers with specific dietary restrictions or severe allergies to consult with us directly so we can provide detailed information and accommodate your needs as best as possible.

Does MunChi make Gluten Free Pretzels?

Accepted Answer

Even though we would love to, unfortunately it is very hard to make a great gluten free yeast dough, that's then shapable into a pretzel.

That doesn't mean we are not trying! We do have a lot of people ask for them, so whenever we discover a new flour or new flour combination, we give it a try! so who knows - maybe one day we'll have THE gluten free pretzel for you :-)
